WAYNE COUNTY, N.Y. – The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in the woods on a Saturday morning.
Responding to a call at 7 a.m., police arrived at Cotten Road, near Route 89, in the Town of Savannah.
The victim has been identified as Brian S. Bizallion, a 42-year-old resident of the Town of Wolcott. Details regarding the circumstances of the shooting are currently limited, as the investigation is ongoing.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, assisted by the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation Police, is handling the case.
