ANNAPOLIS, MD – A double homicide occurred on Friday when George Michael Petrullo, 38, and Alexandra Abbott Huff, 34, were shot by George Edward Huff, 42, in the 2100 block of Somerville Road.
The incident unfolded at approximately 2:00 p.m., when officers responded to a shooting report. Upon arrival, they discovered that George Edward Huff had shot both Petrullo and Alexandra before turning the gun on himself a short time later.
Both Huff and Alexandra were pronounced dead at the scene, while Petrullo fled to a neighboring shopping center before being transported to a local hospital.
He later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
