Ice Pick Armed Robber Arrested by D.C. Police

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Police Department’s detectives have announced that an arrest has been made in connection to an armed robbery that happened yesterday morning at the 1600 Block of Lamont Street in Northwest, D.C.

A suspect wielding an ice pick approached two victims at the listed location at around 8:30 am, demanding property. One victim complied, and officers later apprehended the suspect.

18-year-old Kevin Diaz was arrested yesterday and charged with Armed Robbery.
