Two unrelated debates are raging in America side-by-side and perhaps one solution can solve both. Those debates revolve around voter identification cards and vaccine identification cards. Republicans want to push vaccination ID cards to use as a passport to allow fully vaccinated Americans to return to life as normal, before COVID-19.
Republicans want every American to have a voter ID card to ensure the integrity of the American election system.
What if the two sides pooled their efforts into allowing vaccination ID cards to be a suitable form of identification at the voting booth?
The Democrats’ main complaint when it comes to voter ID cards is that they discriminate against the poor and the minority populations in America’s inner cities. COVID-19 vaccination efforts have reached deep into those inner cities and as of today, more than 50% of all Americans are in possession of a vaccination ID card.
The idea sounds good, even for Donald Trump, Jr.
“Someone should introduce a bill mandating that you have to show your vaccination card to vote and watch everyone on the Left’s brain malfunction and explode,” Trump said.
