Illegal Gun Arrest Made in Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MD—On Monday afternoon, the Baltimore Police Department reported a handgun arrest in the city’s Southeast District. Southeast DAT detectives were patrolling the 2600 Block of East Monument Street at around 4:49 p.m. when they spotted an unidentified male with a satchel that appeared to have a handgun imprint.

Upon stopping the 23-year-old suspect, detectives confirmed the presence of a firearm in the satchel and subsequently placed him under arrest. The individual was then transported to the Central Booking and Intake Facility for processing.
