In Berkeley Township, Mayor Amato Says The Show Must Go On

BERKELEY TOWNSHIP, NJ – Berkeley Township Mayor Amato made sure the show went on this summer as he and his town hosted their “Sounds of Summer Concert Series”.  If you remember, Amato was one of the few mayors in New Jersey during the COVID-19 pandemic to keep his town’s public parks open, with restrictions and safety guidelines to give residents a place to get out and get fresh air while many were essentially locked in their homes for almost three months.

Amato said Berkeley Pride Day was an outstanding success and wanted to thank the corporate sponsors who made the day, and the summer concert series possible.

“Thank you to everyone for a wonderful Berkeley Twp. Community Pride Day last Saturday,” Amato said.  “We would like to take the time to publicly thank our major sponsors. Without their generous donations, our “Sounds of Summer Concert Series” would not be possible. We ask that you please frequent their businesses and say, hi.”

Amato has been an “angel” of a mayor in his community since taking office.  This year, the community showed their appreciation by re-electing his team to office by a nearly 3 to 1 margin. He has truly been a man of the people in Berkeley Township.
