Infant Safely Recovered After Vehicle Stolen in Frederick

FREDERICK, MD – A vehicle was stolen on Thursday from the 1700 block of Harvest Drive in Frederick with an infant in the back seat. The Frederick Police Department, Maryland State Police, and Frederick County Sheriff’s Office collaborated swiftly to locate the vehicle.

The stolen car was found shortly afterward at 502 E. Ridgeville Boulevard in Mount Airy, MD. Authorities discovered the infant unharmed, ensuring the child’s safety.

The suspect was apprehended without incident. The Frederick Police Department expressed gratitude to all officers and allied agencies involved in securing the safe outcome.
