LIVE OAK, FL – A prisoner escape has been reported at the Suwanee County Jail in northern Florida. Jail officials say 48-year-old Anthony Eugene Ward escaped from the Suwannee County Jail at around 6:15 this morning. He was last seen wearing an all-brown prison uniform with brown boots.
Police think Ward is heading toward the Tampa area. He was in jail for fraudulent crimes against an elderly victim.
“If you see him, please call 911 immediately,” police said.
