BALTIMORE, Md. — A routine patrol near Baltimore’s Inner Harbor was disrupted Sunday evening when a citizen alerted an officer to a person armed nearby, moments before multiple gunshots rang out.

The shooting occurred around 6:00 p.m. near the intersection of Light and Lombard Streets. The officer on scene quickly responded and located two teenage males — ages 17 and 19 — both suffering from non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.

Emergency responders transported both victims to a local hospital for treatment. Investigators later determined the incident originated in the unit block of East Redwood Street, just blocks away from a busy commercial area.
