Innocent bystander hit after gunman fires three shots during botched NYC robbery

New York, NY- the New York City Police Department is investigating after an innocent bystander was shot during the Commission of an armed robbery nearby in the Bronx. On August 11th at 6:47 AM, the robbery took place in front of 880 Morris Ave in the Bronx.

According to police, the suspect displayed a gun and demanded the victim’s property. The gunman then fired three shots, striking a 39 year old innocent bystander in the ankle. Police have released a video of the suspect and are asking the public to contact them if they can identify this individual.
