Intoxicated Driver Arrested for Multiple Charges in Stafford

Stafford, VA – On Thursday, July 4, at 9:29 p.m., Deputy S.A. Edwards responded to a disturbance on Onville Road. The victim reported that while at a family member’s residence, a known individual arrived in an intoxicated state, struck her vehicle with his own, and made threats to “burn down buildings” if provoked.

Deputies tracked down the suspect in the Staffordboro Commuter Lot, thanks to his postings on Snapchat. Upon contact, the driver exhibited clear signs of intoxication and admitted to consuming six beers.

The suspect was charged with driving under the influence, making threats to bomb, refusal to comply with orders, and hit and run. He was held at Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond. Further investigations are ongoing.
