Investigation into Garage Fire in Aberdeen

Aberdeen, MD – An investigation is ongoing following a building fire at 1022 N. Stepney Road in Aberdeen, Harford County, on Wednesday at 10:41 p.m.

The fire occurred in a 50′ x 50′ building owned by Franklin Soul. No injuries or deaths were reported.

Smoke alarms and fire alarms/sprinklers were present but did not activate.

The Aberdeen Fire Department responded with 20 firefighters and controlled the fire within 30 minutes. The owner discovered the fire, which was identified as being in the building’s interior. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

No arrests have been made.
