Investigation into Shooting of 16-Year-Old Leads Cops to Towson High School

TOWSON, MD – The Baltimore County Police Violent Crimes Unit is currently investigating a shooting incident involving a 16-year-old male.

Around 9:30 p.m., on Wednesday, officers were alerted to a walk-in shooting victim at a local hospital. The juvenile suffered a gunshot wound to the upper body.

The investigation led officers to the unit block of Cedar Ave, where they concluded that the shooting was an accidental discharge.

There is no active threat to the community regarding this incident.

Officers with the Baltimore County Police Department have also responded to Towson HS to investigate the reported shooting.
