Investigation Leads to Arrest Warrant in Toddler’s Death

Stamford, CT – The Stamford Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit Squad “A” began investigating the death of 2-year-old Liam Rivera on Monday. Edgar Ismalej-Gomez, the child’s father, was looked into as part of the inquiry, with suspicions arising about his role in events leading to Liam’s tragic demise.

Following the probe, Ismalej-Gomez faces a series of charges and a $1,000,000 court-set bond.

The investigation is ongoing.
