Investigation Underway After Fatal Shooting in District Heights

DISTRICT HEIGHTS, MD – Prince George’s County Police’s Homicide Unit is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred on Thursday evening. The incident, which took place in the unincorporated area of District Heights, claimed the life of 22-year-old Za’marco Fogg.

The incident occurred on Wednesday at around 7:00 PM. Responding to a call at the 6500 block of Hil Mar Drive, officers found Fogg in a parking lot with a gunshot wound, where he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives actively seek a motive and are attempting to identify any suspects involved.
