CAMBRIDGE, MD – Early Monday morning, the Cambridge Police Department responded to a ShotSpotter alert near the 800 block of Fairmont Avenue.
A male juvenile was found at the scene with a gunshot wound to his upper arm. His injuries are non-life-threatening and he was transported to Tidal Health Peninsula Medical Center.
Further investigations revealed the presence of other juveniles in the area who provided inconsistent accounts of the incident.
The juvenile victim is not currently cooperating with the detectives’ inquiries.
