MANHATTAN, NY — Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 52-year-old woman found in a Manhattan apartment. The New York City Police Department responded to a wellness check at 206 East 31 Street on Thursday, after which they discovered Nadia Vitel, unconscious and unresponsive.
Emergency Medical Services pronounced Vitel deceased at the scene. The Office of The Chief Medical Examiner is tasked with determining the cause of death. As the investigation into this tragic event continues, further details are expected to be released by the NYPD at a later time.
