Investigation Underway Following Milton Shooting

MILTON, DE – Delaware State Police are currently investigating a shooting incident that took place early this morning in Milton.

The incident occurred on July 22, at around 4:47 a.m., on the 14000 block of Collins Street. Upon arrival, troopers discovered a 19-year-old man with gunshot wounds to his upper torso. Immediate life-saving efforts were initiated, and the victim was subsequently transported to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Early findings from the investigation indicate that the victim was residing in a shed on the property. An unidentified assailant reportedly fired multiple shots into the shed, striking the victim. Further details will be provided as the investigation progresses.
