Investigation Underway for RV Fire in Leonardtown

Leonardtown, MD – An investigation is underway following a fire in a fifth wheel RV located at 23285 Point Lookout Road in Leonardtown, St. Mary’s County. The incident was reported on Monday at 8:10 a.m.

The fire, discovered by the occupants, began in the interior of the RV owned by Christopher Hall and Christin Braddy. One adult female sustained burns and was flown for treatment. She was later released. Two children were also present but were not injured.

The fire caused an estimated $200 in structural damage and $50 in content loss. There were no working smoke detectors in the RV at the time, and the occupants were provided with smoke detectors on the scene.

The Leonardtown Volunteer Fire Department responded with 15 firefighters, bringing the fire under control within three minutes. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. No arrests have been made.
