Jack Leiter drafted by Texas Rangers in first round of MLB draft

BAYVILLE, NJ – Jack Leiter, the son of former Major League Baseball pitcher Al Leiter was drafted number two overall in the 2021 Major League Baseball draft by the Texas Rangers. Leiter, who attended Delbarton High School amassed a 14-3 record with 177 strikeouts.

In college, Leiter played for Vanderbilt and missed his entire freshman season due to the COVID-19 NCAA cancelation.
