Jackson Holbrook cruises past Elmora to win New Jersey Little League state title

DEPTFORD, NJ – The Jackson Holbrook Little League all-stars are one step closer to Williamsport, PA, and are on an incredible roll heading into next week’s Metro Region tournament in Connecticut.

Jackson Holbrook Little League clinched the New Jersey 12U State Championship on Sunday night with a 12-5 win over Elmora Little League, securing a spot in the Metro Region Tournament and extending their unbeaten run to 12-0.

The victory at Deptford Little League capped a double-elimination tournament that featured four setction champions: Jackson Holbrook (District 18), Elmora (District 7), Ridgewood (District 4), and Haddonfield (District 13).

Jackson Holbrook entered as Section 3 champions, having defeated Nottingham, and continued their dominant run through the state bracket with wins over Ridgewood and Elmora.

The win earns Jackson Holbrook a berth in the Metro Region Tournament, which begins August 2 in Bristol, Connecticut. The winner of that tournament advances to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
