Jackson Police charge and release alleged heroin dealers

JACKSON TOWNSHIP, NJ – On January 13, 2022, detectives assigned with the department’s Special Enforcement Unit, along with officers assigned to the department’s Special Response Team concluded an investigation into the allegation of narcotics activity at a Douglas Drive residence which resulted in a search of the residence.

During the search, heroin that was packaged for sale, along with suspected cocaine and narcotics paraphernalia was seized and the two residents were placed under arrest.

Joann Youmans, age 60. She was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of a controlled dangerous substance with the intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was processed and released on summons with a pending court date.

Jamison Holzlein, age 48. He was also charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of a controlled dangerous substance with the intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was processed and released on summons with a pending court date.
