Jackson Township driver killed in early morning crash with parked truck

Jackson, NJ – A local driver was killed early Thursday morning after crashing into a parked truck on Metedeconk Trail, according to Jackson Township Police Chief Matthew D. Kunz.

Officers responded to the scene at approximately 6:27 a.m., where they found the vehicle had collided with a stationary truck along the roadside. The driver, a township resident whose identity has not yet been released, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities have not released details on the cause of the crash, and it remains under active investigation.
