Jason Brown Sentenced to 40 Years for Sexual Assaults Against Child Relatives

QUEENS, NY – Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz announced the sentencing of Jason Brown, 37, of Rockaway Beach, to 40 years to life in prison.

Brown was convicted of sexually assaulting two child relatives, beginning when the victims were as young as 8 and 10 years old.

Brown was found guilty last month of several charges, including two counts of predatory sexual assault of a child, rape, and criminal sexual act.

The assaults occurred over approximately two years, ending with Brown’s arrest following a report by one of the victims to a local police department.

The sentencing was handed down by Supreme Court Justice Ushir Pandit-Durant. Brown will also be registered as a sex offender upon his release.
