Jeff Van Drew easily defeats Tim Alexander in New Jersey’s 2nd Congressional district

CAPE MAY, NJ – Former Democrat turned Trump Republican Congressman Jeff Van Drew defeated his Democrat opponent Tim Alexander Tuesday night, keeping the former blue district in the red as Republicans nationwide are on the verge of retaking control of Congress.

Van Drew received 27,665 votes compared to Alexander’s 13,717, giving the incumbent Republican a 66-32% margin.
