JERSEY CITY, NJ – The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Unit has arrested 26-year-old Nixon Marquez in connection to a 2022 assault that resulted in the death of a gas station employee.
The assault occurred on Sunday, August 21, 2022, at a Shell gas station on Marin Boulevard and 14th Street.
The victim, Fardin Ghadamidarounkola, 55, succumbed to his injuries on Saturday, May 13, 2023.
Marquez is currently awaiting his first court appearance at the Hudson County Correctional Facility.
