Jewelry Theft and Assault on Graham Avenue, Brooklyn

BROOKLYN, NY – A 59-year-old man was assaulted during a jewelry theft on Graham Avenue on Monday. The victim was showing a $10,000 jewelry chain to an unidentified male who then seized the item and fled. The incident occurred at approximately 1:14 PM.

During the chase, the thief punched the victim in the face, leading to minor injuries, which the victim declined to have medically treated. The suspect, described as a dark-complexioned male around 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing 230 pounds, escaped westbound on Moore Street. He was last seen wearing a gray sweat suit and is estimated to be between 50 to 60 years old.
