Joel’s Market Robbed at Gunpoint

PHILADELPHIA, PA – The Central Detective Division of Philadelphia is requesting assistance in identifying two suspects involved in an armed robbery at Joel’s Market.

On Tuesday, around 4:56 pm, two black males entered the store located at 3241 Ridge Avenue, brandished handguns, and demanded money.

After obtaining roughly $800, the suspects fled in an undisclosed direction.

The first suspect was clothed in all black with red and black sneakers, while the second wore a “Buruj Couture” hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and gray and black “New Balance” sneakers.

The public is asked to approach with caution and contact 911 with any relevant information. Tips can also be submitted by phone or text.
