Jon Bramnick brings courtroom comedy to the big stage

It’s a night where the verdict is guaranteed — guilty of comedy.

NEWARK, NJ – The line between law and laughter will blur when Jon Bramnick, the “Funniest Lawyer in New Jersey,” takes the mic at the Victoria Theater on Fri., Nov. 7 at 7:30 p.m.

The veteran attorney and New Jersey state senator will headline the Lizzie & Jonathan Tisch Stage, joined by special guest Vinnie Brand.

Bramnick, a Plainfield native and practicing trial lawyer in Scotch Plains, has been performing comedy for decades, known for his quick wit and clean humor that draws from his years in the courtroom and the Statehouse.

The performance, produced under the theater’s comedy series, is expected to draw both political insiders and comedy fans looking for a night of laughs rooted in real-life law and Jersey personality.

From courtroom to comedy club

Bramnick’s comedic career began as a side hobby during his early years as an attorney, eventually earning him the official title of “Funniest Lawyer in New Jersey” from the State Bar Association. His blend of political anecdotes and sharp timing has since made him a favorite in clubs across the East Coast, from Manhattan’s top venues to Florida’s comedy circuit.

A night of Jersey humor
