Jury Acquits Man Who Shot Annoying YouTube Prankster at Mall Food Court

LEESBURG, VA – A delivery driver named Alan Colie was found not guilty in the shooting of YouTube prankster Tanner Cook at a mall food court.

Alan Colie, 31, faced charges of aggravated malicious wounding for the incident that occurred on April 2 at Dulles Town Center. Tanner Cook, 21, known for his “Classified Goons” YouTube channel, was the victim.

The jury reached a mixed decision on two lesser firearms charges, convicting Colie on one count while acquitting him on the other.

He was being harassed by Cook and felt threatened before pulling a gun and shooting him in the stomach. The shooting caused shoppers to flee the mall in panic, fearing a mass shooting was unfolding.

Cook said he will continue making videos. His mother said she respects the decision by the jury.
