ALBEMARLE, NC – An officer from the Albemarle Police Department was recently alerted about an individual possessing a firearm on the school premises.
The incident occurred on Wednesday.
The officer was on duty as a school resource officer at Albemarle High School.
Following an investigation, a juvenile was taken into custody for having a firearm on school grounds.
