Juvenile Arrested with Loaded Handgun at William Allen High School

ALLENTOWN, PA – On Monday, at approximately 9:00 AM, security personnel at William Allen High School found several juvenile students smoking in the school lavatory.

A subsequent search by the School Resource Officer revealed a loaded handgun and marijuana in the possession of one 15-year-old male student.

The student was arrested and charged with Carrying a Firearm without a License, Possession of a Firearm by a Minor, Possession of a Weapon on School Property, Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

School officials and the Allentown Police Department collaborated to ensure the safety of the school community.

As with all criminal cases, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
