Swissvale, PA – The Homicide Unit of the Allegheny County Police Department was called following a shooting incident in Swissvale. The shooting took place in the 2200 block of Woodstock Avenue.
Police were alerted by County 9-1-1 at 6:04 PM.
Upon their arrival, first responders discovered a juvenile male with a gunshot wound to the back. The victim was promptly transported to a nearby hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.
Homicide detectives have launched a comprehensive investigation to uncover the circumstances leading to the shooting.
