Juvenile Identified in Jersey City Stabbing Murder of 18-Year-Old Naseer Munroe

JERSEY CITY, NJ – A 16-year-old male from Jersey City has been arrested by the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Unit for the fatal stabbing of Naseer Munroe.

The incident occurred on December 15, in Jersey City.

Responding to a report of a stabbing at Duncan Avenue and Wilmont Street, Jersey City Police discovered Munroe, 18, with a stab wound. He was later pronounced dead at Jersey City Medical Center.

The juvenile, whose identity remains confidential, faces charges including Murder and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon.

The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office stresses that these charges are merely accusations, and the juvenile is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
