Juvenile injured in Port Vue Thanksgiving Night shooting, investigation underway

PORT VUE, Pa. — A juvenile male was hospitalized after being shot Thursday night in Port Vue, Allegheny County police reported.

Authorities said the shooting occurred around 10:08 p.m. in the 1300 block of Romine Avenue. First responders arriving at the scene found the victim suffering from a single gunshot wound.

The juvenile was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was listed in stable condition, according to police.

The Allegheny County Police Department’s General Investigations Unit has launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting. No further details were immediately available.
