Juvenile Murder Suspect Arrested by U.S. Marshals Task Force


Memphis, TN
– U.S. Marshal Tyreece Miller announces the arrest
of a 15-year-old male juvenile for Second Degree Murder.

On
August 14, 2021, a 17-year-old male was shot to death near the 400 block
of E. Olive in Memphis, Tennessee. On August 17, a warrant for Second
Degree Murder was issued for the arrest of a 15-year-old male for this
crime. The fugitive case was adopted by the U.S. Marshals Two Rivers
Violent Fugitive Task Force.

Earlier today, the Task Force and
the Shelby County Fugitive Apprehension Team went to a Memphis area high
school and located the fugitive. He was taken into custody without
incident.

The U.S. Marshals Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task
Force is a multi-agency task force in the Western District of Tennessee
with offices in Memphis and Jackson. Its membership is composed of
Deputy U.S. Marshals, Shelby County Sheriff’s Deputies, Memphis Police
Officers, Fayette County Sheriff’s Deputies, Jackson Police Officers,
and Special Agents with the Tennessee Department of Correction. The
primary mission of the Task Force is to arrest violent offenders and
sexual predators.
