Juvenile Shot In Southeast D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department is asking for help in identifying and locating a suspect and a vehicle involved in a shooting that took place yesterday afternoon in Southeast, D.C.

Shortly after 1:30 pm, police arrived at the 2500 block of Pennsylvania Avenue to investigate a report of a shooting. Officers found a male juvenile gunshot victim. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment and is expected to survive.

A nearby surveillance camera captured the suspect and the suspect’s vehicle, described as a “Nissan SUV, possibly a Rouge with dark tinted windows.”
