Juvenile Struck in New Haven Drive-by Shooting

NEW HAVEN, CT – A juvenile victim of a drive-by shooting was admitted to Yale New Haven Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries on Friday night.

New Haven police were alerted to the incident at around 10:25 p.m.

Investigative efforts led officers to identify a crime scene on Foxon Hill Road. Reports indicate that an occupant of a moving vehicle fired multiple shots in the vicinity.

A vehicle impacted by the gunfire was later found by detectives.

The New Haven Police Department’s detectives are actively gathering evidence and interviewing potential witnesses. They have called upon the public to provide any information that could aid in the investigation.
