Juvenile Suspect Detained After Cleveland Heights Shooting

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH – Early Tuesday morning, a 30-year-old man was hospitalized following a shooting incident.

The Cleveland Heights Police Department reported that the shooting took place just before 2:50 a.m. on the 3500 block of St. Albans Road.

Upon arrival, officers discovered the victim in a crashed vehicle against a tree with gunshot wounds.

The injured man was taken to University Hospital. The current state of his injuries has not been disclosed.

A juvenile has been detained for questioning by the Cleveland Heights police. Initial findings suggest the victim and the suspect were acquainted. Investigations are ongoing as officials work to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
