Kenilworth Avenue Reopens After Tree Removal in Greenbelt

GREENBELT, MD – The Greenbelt City Police Department has announced the reopening of Kenilworth Avenue Southbound at Ivy Lane following the removal of a large fallen tree. The road was temporarily closed for this emergency operation.

The incident occurred earlier today, necessitating the closure of the avenue for safety and removal procedures. Greenbelt Police officers were on the scene to assist with traffic control, collaborating with State Highway crews who worked diligently to remove the tree.
