BALTIMORE, MD — Two teenagers are in custody following an armed robbery earlier this month in Northeast Baltimore that targeted another juvenile waiting for a bus.

The robbery occurred on May 7 in the 4600 block of Harford Road. A 17-year-old male was reportedly approached by a group of juveniles while waiting for public transportation to get to work. At least one of the suspects brandished a firearm and robbed the victim of personal property, police said.

Detectives obtained surveillance video during their investigation, which led to the identification of the suspects. On May 12, a 14-year-old male and a 15-year-old male turned themselves in to police.

Both teens were transported to the Juvenile Justice Center and charged with armed robbery.

The investigation remains active, and police have not disclosed whether additional suspects are being sought.
