Knife-Point Robbery Reported in Manhattan

New York City Police Department dispatched to crime scene.

MANHATTAN, NY – A commercial robbery at knifepoint took place at 137 Centre St, as confirmed by the local police department. The suspect, a male individual, is believed to have fled on foot in the direction of Lafayette St.

The suspect has been described as approximately 5’6″ tall, weighing around 200 lbs, and wearing a blue jacket at the time of the robbery. The police were unable to apprehend the suspect at the scene.

The Manhattan Police Department is urging anyone with information about the suspect or the incident to come forward to aid in the ongoing investigation.

The commercial establishment involved and the nature of the items stolen have not been disclosed at this time.
