Knife-Wielding Duo Robs Queens Smoke Shop, Flees on Scooter

QUEENS, NY – Two unidentified males brandished a knife and robbed a smoke shop on 59-11 71 Avenue, making off with cash and products.

On Friday, at about 5:25 p.m., the suspects entered the shop and displayed a knife to a 25-year-old male employee. They removed approximately $400 in cash from the register and approximately $600 worth of products before fleeing the scene on a scooter headed southbound on Stephen Street.

One of the suspects is described as a male with a light complexion, approximately 25 to 35 years old, and about 5’7” tall. He was last seen wearing a white durag, a green camouflage shirt, and gray pants.

There were no injuries reported. The police are actively investigating the incident.
