LACEY TOWNSHIP,NJ-A viral video of a Lacey teen trapping and beating a raccoon to death with a baseball bat is now being investigated by the Lacey Township Police Department and the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office.
On Friday, December 7, 2018, at approximately 3:00 p.m., the Lacey Township Police Department was advised of an online video recording containing the death of a Raccoon in Lacey Township.
The Lacey Township Police Department, in conjunction with the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office and the New Jersey Division of Fish and Wildlife are currently conducting an investigation into the matter.
An updated news release will be forthcoming upon conclusion of the investigation.
