LAKEWOOD, NJ – Early Sunday morning, a fire destroyed the Picnic supermarket on Squankum Road near the Lakewood and Howell Township border. Lakewood firefighters battled the blaze which consumed the building. Picnic is a Kosher supermarket located in the northern section of Lakewood. No injuries were reported during the fire.
