Lancaster County Man Convicted of Double Homicide

LANCASTER COUNTY, PA – On Tuesday, Ezequiel Almodovar, a 38-year-old man from the 1500 block of Hunsecker Road, was convicted by a jury in Lancaster County Court of two counts of first-degree homicide, one count of reckless burning or exploding, two counts of abuse of a corpse, and one count of tampering with or fabricating physical evidence.

This follows a week-long trial in Lancaster County Court.

The jury deliberated for around two hours before delivering their verdict at approximately 3:30 pm.

Almodovar now faces a mandatory life sentence without parole for his crimes, which included the murder of Jonathan Rivera and Eugenio Morales-Torres, and the subsequent burning of their bodies in a truck bed on a farm lane in Manor Township.
