LANCASTER, Pa. — A 32-year-old man has been charged with attempted criminal homicide, aggravated assault, and endangering the welfare of children following a shooting during a dispute over a child, the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office announced Tuesday.

Ezekiel Daniel Sanderful is accused of shooting a woman during the incident, which authorities say stemmed from a disagreement involving custody. The severity of the charges reflects the violent nature of the alleged attack.

At a preliminary arraignment Tuesday morning, Judge Jodie Richardson denied bail for Sanderful, citing concerns for the safety of the victim. Sanderful remains in custody at Lancaster County Prison.

No additional details about the condition of the victim or the circumstances surrounding the shooting have been released. The case remains under investigation.
