Laredo Sector Border Patrol arrests a nefarious gang member

LAREDO, Texas – Laredo Sector Border Patrol agents assigned to the Laredo South Station arrested a MS-13 gang member attempting to enter the country illegally in Laredo, Texas.

 On April 27, Border Patrol agents while working their assigned duties apprehended a group of individuals determined to be in the country illegally. Record checks revealed that one subject, a 32-year-old Mexican national, Armando Barahona-Lopez, was identified as an MS-13 gang member.

Barahona-Lopez has a previous felony conviction for a drive by shooting and was deported for the conviction of a crime involving moral turpitude.  

 Barahona-Lopez will be held pending processing for felony Re-Entry.
