Large Disturbance In Allentown Ends with One Man Shot

ALLENTOWN, PA – On Tuesday, officers from the Allentown Police Department responded to a large disturbance at Irving and East Tilghman streets.

During the attempt to contact the parties involved, shots were heard. Officers found an adult victim with a gunshot wound and rendered aid at the scene.

The victim was transported to a local hospital and is expected to survive.

A loaded firearm was recovered at the scene. The investigation is active and ongoing.

The Allentown Police Department is asking for public assistance and encourages anyone with information to contact detectives.
