COLUMBUS, OH – Today, June 30, 2021, at 4:20am, officers were dispatched to 3464 Sullivant Ave. on the report of a shooting. Officers arrived at scene and discovered the victim, 21-year-old Timothy McGuire, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced deceased at 4:27am.
A witness at scene stated the suspect and victim had a verbal altercation. The suspect returned to his vehicle and as he was pulling off the lot, fired several rounds which struck the victim. The suspect was described as a black male, medium length dreadlocks, wearing a black jacket with the design of a skull on the back and a red hooded sweatshirt under the jacket.
